Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS)
The East Central Regional Development Commission (ECRDC) is the Federal EDA designated Economic Development District for East Central Minnesota (Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs & Pine Counties). As part of this partnership, the ECRDC prepares a five-year Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for the region. The CEDS takes a snapshot of the region, identifies economic development issues, and charts a course to mitigate those issues. The ECRDC also prepares annual updates to the five-year CEDS that take into account current conditions in our region, and makes corresponding adjustments to the strategy. You can find out most recent CEDS Annual Update below.
