These sessions, Bookkeeping for Childcare Providers and Business Growth Strategies for Childcare Providers, will provide essential tools and insights to help childcare businesses thrive.

We’ll break down key financial principles and introduce user-friendly online tools to help you stay organized and in control. Whether you run a home-based program or a larger childcare center, this workshop will give you the skills to manage your finances with ease. Leading the workshop will be Pam Thomsen, professional business consultant with the North Central Small Business Development Center at Central Lakes College.

Explore the four essential areas of business– financial management, marketing, operations, and leadership– to enhance your business’ stability and growth. There will be an opportunity to share best practices and lessons learned with fellow providers. Whether you’re looking to expand your enrollment, improve efficiency, or strengthen your business foundation, this workshop will provide actionable strategies to help your childcare business succeed. Leading the workshop will be Katie Heppner, Regional Director of the North Central Small Business Development Center at Central Lakes College.
